Arte Cubano displays quality, nationally-made products

Havana, February 18 (RHC)-- Authenticity and variety are what distinguish the nationally-made products available in Arte Cubano, a renovated store of the Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales (Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets), which supplies the famous Plaza América Convention Center at the beach resort of Varadero, in Matanzas province.

Candelaria Llanez, commercial management technician, explained that ceramics, jewelry, textiles, leather works and wood products are included among the offerings at the store, which now boasts a more attractive and comfortable atmosphere.

She highlighted that despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism sector, the group is ready to offer its services to those who arrive in an environment where biosecurity protocols are a priority.

On the occasion of February 14th -- Valentine's Day -- attractive offers were promoted on social networks; Textile garments and ceramic pieces are the most popular, Llanez said.

The renovation of the Plaza América Convention Center, which reopened its commercial area at the beginning of this month after major repair work, took place with a view toward the International Tourism Fair, scheduled for May, with the Varadero tourist center as the venue.
