Quito, December 2 (RHC)-- In Quito, the Ecuadorean National Assembly paid homage to Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, and to the Cuban people, whom it considers as examples of solidarity and altruism.
In a motion presented by Deputy Maria Augusta Calle and passed unanimously by the plenary session, the top Ecuadorean legislative body extends its most heart-felt condolences to the government, National Assembly and the people of Cuba.
The text praises the medical treatment of Ecuadorean patients in Cuba and the several missions of health, sports, educational and scientific specialists that currently cooperate with the development of that South American country.
