Washington, April 25 (RHC)-- According to reports from Washington, DC, by Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump will have signed at least 32 executive orders — the most signed in the first 100 days of a new administration since World War II.  A White House document says that Trump is set to sign executive orders regarding energy and the environment over the next several days. 

Some of the known executive orders for this week include an order titled, a review of designations under the Antiquities Act, an order implementing an "America-First Offshore Energy Strategy" and an order "Promoting Agriculture and Rural Prosperity in America," the Hill reported. 
 
The signing of the 1906 Antiquities Act entitles U.S. presidents to make land and water federal property and designate them as national monuments. The Barack Obama administration used the act to place lands under federal protection, designating over 1.6 million acres of land in Utah and Nevada as national monuments, protecting two areas rich in Native American artifacts from mining, oil and gas drilling. 

Last month, Trump signed an order calling for a review of Obama's Clean Power Plan and reversed a ban on coal leasing on federal lands.  “My administration is putting an end to the war on coal,” Trump said at the time, asking the Environmental Protection Agency to formally consider repealing the Clean Power Plant.
