Caracas, March 10 (RHC)-- Venezuelan representative at Human Rights organizations German Saltron denounced the operations against the Bolivarian government in his country by some 100 NGOs funded by the United States.
Such entities, he said, were set up to make Venezuela appear as a country that violates human rights and he recalled that the campaign against Venezuela is nothing new, since it began just as soon as Hugo Chavez was sworn in as president in 1999.
This campaign is launched against any country that does not abide by the rules of the United States, said the diplomat in an interview with Venezolana de Television.
Concerning the violence carried out by Rightist groups to destabilize the country, Saltron rejected the view that it is about student demonstrations, pointing out that such actions are being perpetrated by groups trained to cause violence.
