Geneva, August 14 (RHC)-- Medical professionals say that Ebola is no longer an incurable disease, after two experimental drugs being used to treat infected patients in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have shown a 90% survival rate.
The treatments are most effective if administered shortly after Ebola is contracted. Since the latest outbreak began a year ago, the World Health Organization says at least 2,700 people have been infected with Ebola, with more than 1,800 deaths.
