Caracas, April 10 (RHC)-- Cuban ambassador to Caracas Rogelio Polanco ratified his country’s solidarity with the people and government of Venezuela in the face of attempts by counterrevolutionary and rightist circles to destabilize the South American Nation.
Speaking at the National Assembly building in Caracas, the Cuban diplomat said he was convinced that Venezuelan authorities will defeat the new escalation against the Bolivarian process. “Cuba will be on your side always in this battle against the slanderous campaign aimed undermining the ties of friendship between the two countries and at manipulating the truth about bilateral collaboration,” said Polanco.
Relations between Cuba and Venezuela show a real option for supportive and human integration, he noted and added that the Cuban collaboration workers will keep working in Venezuela under any circumstances.
Ambassador Polanco handed over to the first vice-president of the Venezuelan Parliament, Dario Vivas, a statement by the Foreign Relations Committee of the Cuban Parliament in support of the Venezuelan government and against foreign interference in the internal affairs of the South American nation.
