Caracas, February 20 (RHC)-- The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, decreed an Energy Emergency of the entire hydrocarbons industry in order to continue recovering the country's oil industry which has been affected by the multiform war and the illegal imperialist sanctions.

On Friday, a working meeting was held for the presentation of the Management Balance of the Presidential Commission "Alí Rodríguez Araque" -- in which President Maduro and the sectorial Vice-President for the Economic Area and Minister of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, were present.

The Venezuelan president also signed the extension for one more year of the Alí Rodríguez Araque Commission, to continue the reconstruction of the country's oil sector, which has been devastated by illegal sanctions and financial blockades, and called for bold measures to be taken for its integral recovery.
