She added that based on the systematic dialogue with representatives of the productive sector, the Government has established a gradual policy for the substitution of imports and to use tax incentives to promote the strengthening of national productions.

She clarified that in no case will imports be closed, but that the country has chosen to promote and direct national productions as well as to protect them.  Delcy Rodriguez said that these and other measures will allow expanding potentials, creating jobs, saving foreign currency and generating positive impacts on the productive sector and workers.

Likewise, the Venezuelan vice president assured that her country has ample natural and material potential, but above all it has the capacity of its people to defend their nobility and identity.

She recalled that the blockade policy of the U.S. government has deprived Venezuela of 99 percent of its income during the last few years, but she assured that work is being carried out so that the country advances along the path of development and growth.
