Caracas, November 3 (RHC)-- The electoral schedule for Venezuela's regional and municipal elections, to be held on November 21, is 82 percent advanced, according to the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Pedro Calzadilla.
"We have an advance of 82 percent of the electoral schedule. The electoral campaign reaches today its sixth day," said the president of the CNE in an interview with the private media Globovisión.
The official detailed that with 19 days to go for the mega-elections, eight groups of international observers and six national social organizations are accredited. He mentioned at this point that the broad international accompaniment is part of the electoral guarantees for the regional and municipal elections.

The President of the Electoral Power affirmed that the CNE "is the house of democracy. We are always in contact with the political actors".
He detailed that 2,000 prosecutors were deployed throughout the Venezuelan territory in order to attend to complaints that may arise within the framework of the electoral campaign, which will conclude next November 18.
