U.S. Supreme Court rejects Trump’s bid to block documents from January 6 Committee

The U.S Supreme Court has rejected a request by Donald Trump to block the release of some White House records to the congressional committee investigating the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. 

Washington, January 20 (RHC)--  The U.S Supreme Court has rejected a request by Donald Trump to block the release of some White House records to the congressional committee investigating the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. 

Just hours after the court’s 8-1 ruling Wednesday, the National Archives turned over hundreds of pages of documents to the committee.

Meanwhile, the January 6 committee has subpoenaed the two leaders of the white nationalist “America First” — or “Groyper” — movement. Nick Fuentes and Patrick Casey helped to coordinate, plan and fund events that led up to Global conavirus cases hit record high

Geneva, January 20 (RHC)-- Global coronavirus cases have soared to their highest level of the pandemic, fueled by the explosive spread of the Omicron variant.
 
Case counts are at or near record highs in much of South America, including Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.Much of Europe has broken records for case counts, as well, with France, Germany, Austria and Italy setting new highs for daily infections.
