Seven Bangladeshi refugees die in route to Italy

Rome, January 27 (RHC)-- At least seven Bangladeshi refugees died of hypothermia after attempting to cross the Mediterranean on a boat from Libya to the Italian island of Lampedusa.  Others were taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia and severe disorientation. 

Rome, January 27 (RHC)-- At least seven Bangladeshi refugees died of hypothermia after attempting to cross the Mediterranean on a boat from Libya to the Italian island of Lampedusa.  Others were taken to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia and severe disorientation. 

According to media reports, more than 280 refugees were aboard the boat, most of them from Bangladesh and Egypt.
