Tegucigalpa, January 27 (RHC)-- The president-elect of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, who took office this Thursday in a ceremony at the National Stadium in Tegucigalpa, presented the names of ministers who will be part of her Cabinet.
"I announce to the country part of the team of women and men who will accompany me in the project of refoundation of Honduras", published the former candidate of the Liberty and Refoundation Party (Libre) on her Twitter account.
Eduardo Enrique Reina was appointed as Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Central American country, while the Secretary of Finance went to Rixi Moncada. The presidency of the Banking and Insurance Commission will be held by Marcio Sierra, while Rebeca Santos will head the Central Bank.
Likewise, the Cabinet Secretary will be Rodolfo Pastor de María Campos and Ivis Alvarado will be the Secretary of Communications. Lucky Medina and José Carlos Cardona were also announced as Secretary of Natural Resources and Secretary of Development and Social Inclusion, respectively.
Marlon Ochoa will be in charge of the Revenue Administration Service, Héctor Manuel Zelaya will be the Private Secretary, José Manuel Zelaya will be the Secretary of Defense, while Ramón Sabillón will be in charge of Security.
Likewise, in charge of the Health portfolio, Castro appointed José Manuel Matheu and Pedro Barquero will be in charge of Economic Development.
