Caracas, February 15 (RHC)-- The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has called on Argentinean authorities to investigate a plan to attack his country that was prepared during the administration of former President Mauricio Macri.

The Venezuelan leader stressed that an Argentinean media source unveiled that the neoliberal government of Macri had sponsored the preparation of a group of Special Forces of the Army to invade Venezuela.

"The article reports that the general in charge of leading this operation is still active in the Argentinean Army.  This denunciation seems credible to me because the continental right wing went to the extreme of breaking all the rules of the game of coexistence between our nations.  I hope that in Argentina, someone dares to raise their voice to investigate this accusation. It is something very serious," emphasized President Maduro.
