Shooting at school in Tennessee
Havana, March 27 (RHC) At least three children were killed on Monday during a shooting at a school on Burton Hills Boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee, according to local authorities.
According to a news network report, law enforcement reported that the alleged perpetrator was killed by police.
Three pediatric patients were transported to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital in Vanderbilt with gunshot wounds and "all were pronounced dead upon arrival," Vanderbilt University Medical Center spokesman John Howser reported.
Shortly after the police announced the shooter was dead, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation also stated that "there is currently no threat to public safety."
Students from The Covenant School, which serves children from preschool to sixth grade, were being bused to Woodmont Baptist Church to meet their parents.
