Nicaragua condemns terrorist attack against Russian journalist
Havana, April 4 (RHC) The Government of Nicaragua condemned this Tuesday the recent terrorist attack in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, where the war correspondent Maxim Fomin, known by his pseudonym Vladlén Tatarski, died.
According to a press release, the Sandinista Executive regretted the death of the journalist and conveyed its condolences to the relatives of Fomin "in these moments of sadness and pain."
The Government expressed its solidarity with Fomin's colleagues in journalism and war correspondents, while sending their prayers for "his eternal rest." In addition, it greeted the people and the highest authorities of the Eurasian country with affection and admiration.
The military blogger was considered one of the best-known influencers in defense of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, with more than 560,000 subscribers to his Telegram channel.
According to press reports, some 25 people were injured during the attack, of which 19 are hospitalized. (Source: Prensa Latina)
