New York, August 28 (RHC)-- In the U.S., Robert F. Kennedy Jr. -- the son of Robert Kennedy and nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy -- took to X, formerly Twitter, to express his gratitude towards WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for exposing the U.S. government’s controversial efforts related to Monsanto’s Roundup.

Kennedy, a Democratic presidential candidate, highlighted the significant role Assange played in revealing the U.S. government’s alleged corrupt practices in promoting Monsanto’s toxic Roundup globally.  He emphasized the debt environmentalists owe to Assange for his fearless revelations.

Assange’s revelations have consistently stirred global debates.  Assange’s previous exposures, such as the release of classified military documents and diplomatic cables, led to his potential extradition to the U.S., a move that has been controversially ratified by the U.K.

His supporters view him as an anti-establishment hero who has been persecuted for exposing U.S. war crimes and crimes against humanity. .  The recent rally in the Wistaverse metaverse, organized to galvanize global support against his potential extradition, further underscores the global attention his case has garnered.

In a related note, Elon Musk recently conducted a Twitter poll, in December 2022, asking if Assange, along with whistleblower Edward Snowden, should be pardoned.  A significant 80% of respondents voted in favor of the pardon, highlighting the widespread public support for both figures.
