President of Venezuela continues his tour in China's Shandong Province

Beijing, September 10 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrived this Sunday in Shandong province, included in the tour he is making through the People's Republic of China to strengthen relations between the two nations.

 

The president arrived at Yaoqiang International Airport in the city of Jinan, accompanied by the first combatant Cilia Flores and part of his ministerial cabinet.

The Venezuelan leader was received by Deng Yunfeng, vice-governor of Shandong Province; Cai Xianjin, director of Foreign Affairs of Shandong Province; Yongsen, deputy director of Foreign Affairs of Shandong Province; and Liu Sijie, deputy director of the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province.

The presidential tour began in this Asian nation on September 8th and has also included the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai, where he visited the Fenglin Medical Technology Park and the Zhangjian Artificial Intelligence Island Experimental Center.

He also had a meeting with the president of the New Development Bank (NBD) of the BRICS, Dilma Rousseff.

Venezuela and China have maintained diplomatic and commercial relations since 1974, based on respect, sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples, according to a Presidential Press release.
