Caracas, January 25 (RHC)-- The president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, denounced on Thursday more details of the conspiracy plans against that country, which have counted with the complicity of local politicians and the blessing of the U.S. government.

Rodriguez pointed out that regarding the denunciation presented by the Attorney General's Office last Monday, as Legislative Power "they will debate to take forceful actions against those who attempt against the peace of the Republic".

He denounced that the Venezuelan extreme right has never retreated from executing violent actions in the country and recalled that "in 2 years, 2017-2019 when he was Minister of Communications, we made 20 denunciations of extreme actions against the Constitution, against Venezuela's democracy".

The Venezuelan official said that this denunciation is to "deepen in a scheme to which they always resort [from the right] to undermine with the fundamental principles of Peace. There were 5 events of extreme conspiracy".

Jorge Rodriguez explained that "of those 5 conspiracy attempts, two very powerful ones sought the kidnapping, murder, assassination of the President of the Republic" Nicolás Maduro.
