United Nations, June 9 (RHC)--  After the United Nations blacklisted Israel as an entity that violates children’s rights in conflict zones, Israeli public broadcaster KAN is reporting that the regime is reviewing measures to respond to the UN, including cutting ties with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Guterres spokesman confirmed on Friday that he has added Israel’s military to a global list of offenders that have committed violations against children.  The inclusion of the Israeli regime on the UN blacklist for intentionally killing innocent children in its genocidal war against the defenseless people trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip prompted a furious response in Tel Aviv.

By adding Israel to the list of child-killing regimes the UN “put itself today on history’s blacklist,” Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his X account, formerly known as Twitter.

Israel’s foreign minister Israel Katz also said the decision would impact the regime’s relations with the United Nations.  KAN also said Gilad Erdan, Israel’s envoy to the UN, has also recommended the regime classify the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) as “a terrorist organization.”

Late in May Israeli parliament held a preliminary vote to designate the aid agency as a “terrorist group.”

Erdan also suggested that Israel denies visas to UN officials and the heads of UN agencies, and prevent them from working in the West Bank.

Despite decades of child-killing and numerous calls in past years by rights groups to add the Israeli regime to the list of offenders, the recent UN decision to blacklist Tel Aviv is the first time Israel was added to the list that is also known as the “List of Shame.”

More than 36,801 Palestinian people have since been killed and many more wounded in Gaza. Most of the causalities have been women and children.
