United Nations, June 13 (RHC)-- A total of 521 people, including over 126 children, have been killed in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since October 7, with the vast majority of the killings taking place during Israeli military raids on Palestinian refugee camps, towns, villages and cities.

Two Palestinian cities and their refugee camps – Jenin and Tulkarem – account for a startling 34 percent of all those killed by Israeli forces since October, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports.

According to OCHA, Israeli forces killed 504 Palestinians during the October 7 to June 10 period, while Israeli settlers killed a further 10 Palestinians, and seven cases of killings “remain unknown whether the perpetrators were Israeli soldiers or settlers.”  More than 5,200 Palestinians have also been injured in attacks since October, including 800 children.

During the same period, seven Israeli soldiers and five settlers were killed by Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.  In Israel, eight Israelis were killed since October and four Palestinian attackers.

On top of the huge Palestinian death toll in the West Bank, 183 Palestinian people have been displaced from their homes in Jerusalem governorate by Israeli authorities since the start of the year.
