Panama City, October 7 (RHC)-- Panama's Vice President and Foreign Minister Isabel de Séint Malo presided over a high-level preparatory meeting to work on the main documents ahead of the 7th Summit of the Americas.
The draft documents will be submitted for discussion and approval by the participating regional heads of state and government during the summit, set for April 2015 in Panama City.
Issues discussed at this latest preparatory meeting included energy, migration, security, education, health, environment, citizen participation and democratic governance.
The central theme of the 2015 Summit of the Americas is 'Prosperity with Equity: Challenges to Cooperation in the Americas.'
