Caracas, July 4 (RHC)-- The Government of Venezuela denounced this Wednesday the use of the Human Rights Council (HR) of the United Nations in the face of the fascist demonstration of a Venezuelan extremist opposition group.

In this sense, Alexander Yánez criticized “the instrumentalization of this instance in the face of the insolent presence of fascism of a Venezuelan extremist opposition group, protected by a biased system, which acts as a “campaign command” in the country.

"Mr. High Commissioner, allow me to tell you what is going to happen in the coming weeks in our country.  We will soon arrive at July 28th, when the polling stations open to re-elect the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, among 10 candidates.  “Every Venezuelan is aware of the calls of the radical opposition for a U.S. military invasion against Venezuela,” highlighted the permanent representative of Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Alexander Yánez noted that through the social networks, "they intend to convince the Venezuelan people, and it is clear that they will fail again in their attempt at manipulation and interference."

Likewise, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil stated: “It is very difficult to establish any technical cooperation with the High Commissioner's office, as long as they persist in their biased position of protecting right-wing extremism that seeks to continue curtailing the rights of Venezuelans."
