Caracas, August 6 (RHC)-- President Nicolás Maduro said on Monday in his program "Con Maduro +" that Venezuela is winning peace through its National Constitution and its "powerful" institutions, including the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).

"We want peace and we are going to have peace.  The actions I have taken, this electoral appeal to settle this conflict, I think it is a masterstroke for peace in Venezuela and it is moving forward.  They summoned us on Friday," said the president of the South American country in his program that began its third stage on Monday.

"Love for the country, the law, the Constitution and the institutions will prevail; to move forward with the truth," he said and recalled that after the elections of July 28th, which he won with 51.95 percent of the votes, he filed an appeal before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to be the body that resolves the conflicts of the electoral process.

He pointed out that on Monday, the National Electoral Council (CNE), which was requested by the TSJ, delivered "all the documents of the electoral process" of July 28th.  And as the next step, the Electoral Chamber of that power issued summons to all 10 former presidential candidates who participated in that day.

According to the schedule, President Maduro is summoned to appear on Friday, August 9th at 12:00 local time (16:00 GMT), while the former candidate of the extreme right Edmundo González Urrutia was called to appear this Wednesday, August 7th at 11:00 local time (15:00 GMT).

In his live broadcast program, Maduro learned of the judicial summons of the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ, to which he said: "I will attend like a carnation to the judicial summons of the Electoral Chamber," which was created by the Constituent Assembly of 1999.

The jurist Hermann Hermann Escarrá participated in the program, who was president of the Constitutional Commission of the National Constituent Assembly and co-writer of the Bolivarian Constitution, and who made a presentation of the origin of the electoral power and the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ.

He stressed the importance of the fact that President Maduro has filed an electoral contentious appeal, since in his capacity as president he fulfilled the attribution of protecting and safeguarding the Constitution of the Republic.

With this measure, said the expert, "you removed the debate on terrorism, fascism, the ongoing coup d'état, to place it within the framework of the rule of law and the application of the Constitution."

Likewise, Maduro denounced this Monday that through the instant messaging application WhatsApp, with codes from Colombia, Peru, Chile and the United States, they attacked Venezuelan society, and called for the promotion of love, culture, sports and peace.

"They are threatening their families, the militiamen and militiawomen. They are threatening athletes, artists and their families.  WhatsApp gave the list of Venezuela to the terrorists so that they would attack them.  They are attacking the officers and the military family of Venezuela," the president specified, while assuring that the five powers of the Venezuelan State are under attack from WhatsApp.

The head of State indicated that from now on, WhatsApp will not be in the hands of Colombian drug trafficking or the United States to attack Venezuela, and he described the application as technological imperialism. «We will free ourselves from technological imperialism», assured Maduro.

The head of state also presented a video showing how social media lends itself to distorting audiovisual material against him and generating hatred in the people. In the video, the president is seen talking to members of the Bolivarian National Guard, with his voice manipulated and allegedly urging them to suppress protests.

"They manipulate with artificial intelligence, they put on a similar voice even though they don't get the voice: they are a macabre and Nazi-fascist laboratory. Anyone can see it and even laugh, but there are those who see it and it stimulates hatred and the desire to kill," he said.

The president also advised the youth to leave WhatsApp to guarantee peace and called for work for the future, while urging them to "stay firm, you have a president who loves youth."

Nicolas Maduro stressed that the violent ambush of July 28th came as a surprise, but the reaction capacity of the Venezuelan State and society surprised the fascists.

He also said that the National Electoral Council (CNE) has already complied and is “in the hands of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Venezuela.”  And the Venezuelan leader also asserted that he will go when summoned by the TSJ: “I am at your service, when I am summoned, I will go. We are prepared, the GPP and the PSUV to bring 100% of the Electoral Records.”

During the meeting, the president highlighted that a new season of the program “Con Maduro +” is being launched in times of the bicentennial, announcing that tomorrow Tuesday the 200 years of the Battle and Victory of Junín will be commemorated in style.”

“The last great military battle was led by the greatest leader that our America has had in all centuries: Simon Bolivar,” he stressed in the 53rd edition of the television program.

Nicolas Maduro reiterated that “two hundred years later, Junín is still in force and the battle is the same: Freedom or slaves; independence or colony; and if the battle is the same, of Bolivar and Sucre, the result will be the same, the victory of the patriots, of the Great Homeland.”

The president extended his solidarity with the population of the United Kingdom, following the violence that unleashed a wave of right-wing and anti-immigration riots and protests and the use of social networks to spread widespread violence, in an anti-Semitic world, which becomes a boiling pot.

“Many countries in Europe are experiencing a polarization that has led to hatred between different social and racial groups,” said the president.

“There are many events in the world.  The United Kingdom, which is experiencing a polarization between social and racial groups, was shocking,” said Maduro.

Regarding Europe, Nicolas Maduro assured that “they are societies that are divided. Authorities profess that TikTok and Instagram helped escalate these actions.”

When analyzing the economic context, he said that the world woke up today impressive because the Japanese Stock Exchange opened with a 30 percent drop, the recession of the American economy, the inflation of the dollar, in addition to the huge fall of Google.  Elon Musk, you went down!

Regarding Gaza, the president recalled that more than 300 days of the escalation of violence that has put the Arab region in a Middle East crisis have already developed.

“Benjamin Netanyahu has created a situation of very high tension. The start of a war that surpasses that of Ukraine and the genocide of Gaza is expected.  He is seeking to set fire to the entire Middle East,” stressed the president.
