Venezuelan Supreme Court completes process of transcription of electoral records

Caracas, August 19 (RHC)-- The Venezuelan Supreme Court is finishing the process of transcription of electoral records.  Once completed, the transcription of the electoral tallies and other material provided by the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) will proceed the verification of the verification of physical records against the receipt in the national centers of totalization of the CNE.

Technical, national and international experts, so that some witnesses accessed the data center where all the technological infrastructure and servers of the CNE are located and is where all the records and data collected around the country are received.

More than 60 percent of the ballot papers submitted have already been transcribed by the technical operators of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela.

This technical expertise step will allow the correspondence of documents present in the acts of counting and those that were transmitted by voting machines to be certified.

The expert report will allow the Electoral Chamber to issue a final verdict on the contentious appeal requested by President Nicolás Maduro.
