Caracas, August 20 (RHC)-- The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has stressed the need to build three rings of political force that focus on socialism, during a meeting with representatives of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the political parties that make up the Great Patriotic Pole “Simón Bolívar” (GPPSB).

“The first, the PSUV and the Great Patriotic Pole in expansion; united people, street by street; "without delay, consolidate it together," said the president in order to promote the construction of socialism and the collective project.

Noting that the second ring will promote grassroots work in the territory, the social sectors and in their organizational forms, the president said that "it is a concept that encompasses the social, the Popular and Communal Power.   For us, the leaders must have participation and protagonism."

While acknowledging that the third ring is related to strategic alliances, Nicolas Maduro said that these are the potentialities of productive, social and cultural factors.  He urged to unify alliances with all productive sectors, as well as links with religious and cultural beliefs of the country and "to consolidate victory against hatred, lies and manipulation."

On the other hand, he said that the people of Venezuela triumphed against fake news and asserted that "bots do not march, bots do not vote.  Here, who votes is the sovereign people."

“We must accelerate the great changes and transformations that the people want,” said the Venezuelan president, confirming that next Sunday, August 25th, the Second National Consultation will take place -- when the 49,000 communal councils and communes will be mobilized so that the people can choose the projects of their community with their vote.
