Moscow, October 22 (RHC)-- The Minister of Communications and Information of Venezuela, Freddy Ñáñez, described the creation of the BRICS as the most important event of the last century, as it emerged at the necessary time “to save humanity.”
"I believe that this is the most important global event of the last 100 years, because here we are seeing the expression of a completely diverse, plural world, which has the capacity to coexist, which has the capacity to build consensus, which has the capacity to build what the liberator Simon Bolivar called universal equilibrium»," said the minister in an interview.
In addition, Freddy Ñáñez affirmed that the broad and positive expectations that Venezuela has regarding the results and decisions that will be taken at the summit, on which he stated that "whatever is beneficial for the BRICS will be beneficial for humanity."
Ñáñez also expressed the need for a multipolar world in the current historical context, «because if a multipolar world does not emerge, what is at risk is life as we know it on the planet».
