Caracas, November 23 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez denounced this Friday that the blockade against Venezuela imposed by the U.S. government is also the face of international fascism.

During the commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the Anti-Blockade Law, the Venezuelan leader specified that 2020 was the real escalation, while the beginning took place in 2015.

"During the COVID-19 pandemic, more suffocation was established," said Delcy Rodríguez, while pointing out that this shows the criminal actions of governments that do not care about girls, women, minors, and if they murder girls in Palestine.

"Don't we know what fascism looks like?" the vice president reflected, declaring that the countries around Washington want to dominate the world, and that is also a reflection of the genocide in Palestine.

"Four years ago we were celebrating the approval of the anti-blockade law," said Delcy Rodríguez, acknowledging that the blockade has meant a criminal action by the U.S. government and Western countries.  Of the 948 coercive measures, 785 are direct sanctions from the United States, the European Union, Switzerland, Canada and other countries.

Recognizing that this same blockade affected 99 percent of Venezuela's foreign currency income, the vice president insisted that it shows the criminal actions of governments that do not care about women, children, or the elderly.

She affirmed that the process of social and economic transformation allowed Venezuela to emerge as a true participatory and leading democracy and that popular power consolidates the country's actions.
