Caracas, November 24 (RHC)-- The Public Ministry of Venezuela charged the opposition María Corina Machado for her actions of promotion and support of Law HR 825, approved by the United States House of Representatives in favor of intensifying the economic war and sanctions against the nation.
María Fernanda Barreto, Colombian-Venezuelan researcher and writer and collaborator in various national and international media, spoke with teleSUR regarding the indictment of the Attorney General of the Venezuelan Republic against the far-right opposition María Corina Machado, accused of inciting new illegal sanctions against the country.
The writer considered the action as "an act long awaited by the Venezuelan people on the part of the judicial system," and stated that Venezuelans expected the ministry, as it did, to dictate a sanction against a woman who negotiates with the territorial integrity of the country and offers Venezuelan peace and tranquility as a bargaining chip in order to recover privileges for its political caste.
Regarding the alignment of the right with foreign agendas that go against the sovereign decisions of the Venezuelan people, the expert pointed out that although the measure is dictated against Machado, it is sanctioning the actions of a Venezuelan political class that has decided to put Venezuelan assets and the sovereignty of the country on the negotiating table with international powers.
"In this sense, María Corina Machado represents the interests of Zionism in Venezuela, but she has also represented the interests of Uribeism» in the country," she said.
She stressed that for years there have been reports of a pattern of foreign interests within the country that threaten the people, since she is a public representative of the Israeli Likud party (in whose ranks Benjamin Netanyahu is a member), therefore, she represents genocidal Zionism in Venezuela and throughout the continent.
On the other hand, Barreto affirms, Machado has maintained many public demonstrations of her friendship with former Colombian president Álvaro Uribe Vélez, «a sinister and deeply questioned character», and the Colombian people still hope that justice is done for her direct connection with drug trafficking and paramilitarism.
Thus, Machado sums up those international interests that have violated Venezuelans and surrounded the people with a genocidal and criminal blockade, which attempt to undermine peace in the nation by promoting a paramilitary invasion, especially since the first Uribe government, explained Barreto.
"As Minister Diosdado Cabello denounced today, they have been part of much more complex operations that have been directly organized by NATO forces, Zionist forces and by the CIA itself», as well as by the DEA, which Barreto described as an «international cartel and great drug administrator."
These are sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right that try to maintain the lost privileges, and in their will they ally themselves with transnational interests that also lost the privilege of despoiling the country and plundering its resources.
In this sense, Barreto agrees that placing the peace and tranquility of the people on a negotiating table «cannot be interpreted in any other way than as treason to their country».
"Beyond the legal action that the Attorney General's Office is undertaking today, the political and moral sanction that is given to this type of operation is very important," said the researcher, since these are transnational operations against the peace of our peoples and that are aligned with an empire in crisis, which is losing its world hegemony and refuses to lose the last bastion it has left, which is our continent, said Barreto.
The interviewee confirmed that difficult times are coming for America, and this type of political operator must be sanctioned not only by law, but also politically and morally by the peoples of the continent.
Regarding how Venezuela should respond to the actions of opposition figures aligned with foreign powers, the expert considered that the Venezuelan government is doing well, while highlighting the importance of continuing to act in the communications field to denounce these operations, which are always accompanied by media wars and fake news.
