La Paz, July 29 (RHC)-- Bolivia's economy maintained its growth rate above five percent during the first five months of this year, according to the National Statistics Institute.
The Global Index of Economic Activity, published on the website of that institute, shows that the economic growth of Bolivia scored 5.12 percent in early June and was mainly driven by areas such as construction, services and transportation.
The document affirms that the most discrete profit items were crude oil and natural gas, followed by the sectors of communications, metallic and nonmetallic minerals, trade, manufacturing, agriculture and fisheries.
