La Paz, September 7 (PL-RHC)-- President Evo Morales said that four countries have so far confirmed their attendance at the Second World Summit on the Rights of Mother Earth, scheduled for October 10th through the 12th in Cochabamba.

Morales urged Cochabamba authorities and residents to be responsible in the organization of a successful meeting, promoted by social movements.

The Bolivian president said he talked to UN Chief Ban Ki-moon a few days ago and asked him to send delegations to follow the conference and take part in drafting the conclusions.

In Morales' opinion, there is a world environmental movement for the Pachamama or Mother Earth.

The conclusions of the Second World Summit on the Rights of Mother Earth, to be held in Cochabamba, will be presented to the next UN Conference on Climate Change, slated for Paris from November 30th through December 11th this year.
