Bogota, January 21 (RHC)-- The Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations, UNASUR, Ernesto Samper said that during an upcoming trip to Cuba, he hopes to meet with representatives of the government and the FARC-EP peace negotiators.
The former Colombian president announced that he will visit Havana next week to attend the opening of an international conference on the 163rd anniversary of the birth of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti.
Ernesto Samper said that he has always supported the peace negotiations, as president of Colombia and now as an executive of the regional organization, UNASUR.
