Havana, February 9 (RHC-Telesur)-- As the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) approaches a final peace deal with the government of President Juan Manuel Santos, the group’s leaders have said that peace in Colombia will be “incomplete” without the participation of the country's second largest rebel group –the National Liberation Army (ELN) in the peace process.

“The ELN cannot be left out of the peace process,” said FARC chief peace negotiator Ivan Marquez on Monday. “We have evidence to confirm that its leadership wants to start peace talks with the government of Colombia as soon as possible.”

“Peace without the ELN would be incomplete peace,” Marquez added.
