Salt Lake City, March 4 (RHC)-- Mitt Romney, the U.S. Republican nominee for the 2012 White House race, has implored Republican voters to reject the candidacy of Donald Trump, who is "a phony, a fraud."
Speaking at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday, Romney said the victory of Trump in the 2016 presidential election "will have profound consequences for the Republican Party and, more importantly, for the country." Romney said: "If we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished."
