Havana, October 21 (RHC)-- A Cuban who for nearly 15 years remained incarcerated in the U.S. is asking that people write letters of support to a Puerto Rican woman imprisoned in the U.S. for protecting Cuba from Washington's policies of aggression.
Through his e-mail account, Cuban Five Rene Gonzalez writes that Puerto Rican Ana Belén Montes has been operated for breast cancer and he invites people around the world to send letters of support to her.
Rene Gonzalez says that the cause of Ana Belén, the courageous Puerto Rican woman imprisoned for protecting Cuba from the U.S. policies of aggression and currently recovering from surgery, would receive a powerful message if letters and postcards start arriving at her prison door.
He asks those interested to write to: Ana Belén Montes, prison number 25037-016, at Carswell Detention Center, 3000 I St, Fort Worth, TX, 76127.
