The exhibit dedicated to the late Cuban revolutionary leader includes a biography of Fidel and his self-defense statement 'History Will Absolve Me,' which Fidel delivered at the trial for his participation in the 1953 revolutionary attacks against the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba.

In the homage paying ceremony, Museum Director Zarifa Salahova described Fidel as a leader of not only Cuba but all of Latin America, and said his legacy will be followed by revolutionaries all over the world.
