Havana, February 24 (RHC-PL)-- Manuel da Cruz, Angolan Minister of the Presidency, and the Vice President of the Cuban Council of Ministers Ricardo Cabrisas, expressed their desire to deepen the links between Cuba and Angola in the fields of public health and education.
The meeting between the two officials served to analyze the positive and successful steps taken to strengthen bilateral cooperation in these sectors, as well as the work of the Inter-Governmental Commission.
According to Prensa Latina news agency, the Angolan Ministers of Health and Higher Education, Luis Gomes and Adao Gaspar do Nascimento, were among other officials also attended the meeting.
Cabrisas was accompanied by the Higher Education Minister, José Ramón Saborido; Public Health Deputy Minister Marcia Cobas; the Ambassador of Cuba in Angola, Gisela García, and other officials from the ministries of Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs.
