Havana, January 28 (RHC) -- The historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, held fraternal meetings with the President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff and Prime Minister of Jamaica, Portia Simpson Miller, who are currently in Havana on an official visit.
The Cuban leader and the Brazilian president discussed topics of bilateral interest such as the newly-inaugurated Mariel Special Development Zone and the “Mais Medicos” program, where a large number of Cuban doctors are taking part.
Furthermore, Fidel received the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Portia Simpson-Miller, with whom he talked about the traditional friendship between Cuba and Jamaica and highlighted the development of cooperation in the areas of health, education and sports.
