Havana, January 29 (RHC) -- Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos thanked Cuba and countries in the region for their support of the ongoing peace negotiations with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) militias in Havana.
"I want to thank the Cuban government and people for their support for the peace process that we are advancing here in Havana," Santos said upon his arrival to the Caribbean island to participate in the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
Santos, who pays a 24-hour visit to Havana, will hold several high level meetings with regional leaders, including the presidents of Cuba, Venezuela and Mexico.
