Havana, June 27 (RHC-PL)-- Spain's state-run archives will deliver facsimiles of several historical documents related to the island to the National Archive of the Republic of Cuba (ARNAC).
According to the Cuban News Agency, the academic degree of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti (1853-1895), a student of the Faculty of Law at the Central University of Madrid, is among the documents.
A general map of the railroads that were part of the project to extend the Sabanilla to Navajas, the general junction with Havana, Matanzas and Cardenas, and the designation of lighthouses for the Island of Cuba, are also on the list.
The latter refers to the memory proposed by the General Lighting System for the Cuban coasts.
The Map of Havana, in perspective, a similar document of the Castillo de Los Tres Reyes del Morro (or the Morro Castle), and images and descriptions in DVD format of the previous maps of that capital military bastion, as well as several files, are also included.
