La Paz, July 4 (RHC)-- Bolivian President Evo Morales has expressed his appreciation for the unconditional solidarity of the Cuban people. The Bolivian leader inaugurated a health fair in the municipality of Uriondo, in the department of Tarija, attended by 62 medical specialists from Cuba and 50 from Bolivia.
President Evo Morales thanked the initiative of the Cuban Medical Brigade and the Cuban embassy in the country, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health. He also recognized Cuba's collaboration in the creation of the community health program Mi Salud, which currently reaches almost all municipalities in Bolivia.
The Bolivian president highlighted the Cuban-Venezuelan program of Operation Miracle, under which more than 700,000 people have been treated free of charge in Bolivia.
