Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos to Visit Cuba

Bogotá, July 15 (RHC)-- Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will travel to Cuba on Sunday, accompanied by several ministers with the broad business mission of strengthening commercial ties with our country.

A communiqué from the Colombian Government, released in Bogotá, highlights the will of the two countries to take advantage of current business opportunities.

According to the statement, the business people who will accompany the Colombian Head of State are from the sectors of construction, packaging, agribusiness, food, electricity and electronics, engineering and petroleum services, energy and chemistry.

Monday, the president will attend a business conference at Havana's Hotel Nacional. Later, he will place a wreath at the monument to Cuba's National Hero José Martí and also pay homage to Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez.
