Buenos Aires, August 24 (RHC/Prensa Latina)-- Ramon Labañino, vice president of the Cuban National Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) is on a working visit to Argentina.
Labanino briefed members of the Cuban diplomatic staff in Buenos Aires on transformations going on in Cuba as part of the island's efforts to update its economic and social model. He spoke of the role that economists' Association is playing in the changes.
A hero of the Republic of Cuba, Ramon Labañino spend nearly 15 years in prison in the U.S. for activities associated to the unveiling of anti-Cuba terrorist actions by ultra-right wing Cuban-American groups in Florida.
