Havana, September 21 (RHC)-- Cuba's First Vice President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez received in Havana the Attorney General of the Dominican Republic, Jean Alain Rodríguez. Through the Attorney General, Diez-Canel thanked the government and people of the neighboring country for their solidarity following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma.
During the meeting, the Cuban leader welcomed the results of the working visit by the delegation headed by the Dominican Attorney General, invited by his Cuban counterpart, Darío Delgado Cura.
Among the subjects discussed were bilateral legal cooperation, crime prevention and confrontation, mainly of transnational organized crime dealing with drug trafficking, trafficking in persons, trafficking in immigrants, and corruption.
