Havana, September 22 (RHC-Granma)-- Cuban President Raúl Castro received Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro at Havana’s José Martí International Airport last night.
The Venezuelan leader arrived to Cuba accompanied by First Combatant Cilia Flores to present the island with a donation from the sister nation, to help support recovery efforts following Hurricane Irma.
First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel, was also at the airport to welcome the Venezuelan president and his delegation.
