Havana, October 11 (RHC)-- Intellectuals and artists from the Spanish city of Huelva will hold meetings in Havana this month with Cuban colleagues and carry out an agenda of presentations in Havana's institutions.
Under the title Huelva Cultura, with the Cuban actress Laura de la Uz as host, the program aims to show the Cuban audience valuable examples of the heritage and contemporary creation that originate in that Andalusian city and to strengthen affective ties with the local inhabitants.
Among the visitors is the famous actor and theater director José Luis Gómez, member of the Spanish Royal Academy and the Academy of the Performing Arts of Spain. In Cuba, film lovers appreciate his performances in Pedro Almodóvar's films such as: Los abrazos rotos (The Broken Embraces) and La piel que habito (The Skin I Live In).
