Havana, December 16 (RHC-PL)-- Josefina Vidal, director general of the United States Department of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, says that our country remains willing to work in favor of improving relations with Washington.
During the closing of a workshop on the subject in Havana, Josefina Vidal said that Cuban authorities have repeatedly expressed their willingness to dialogue on the basis of respect and cooperation in matters of common interest, despite the setback experienced after the arrival of President Donald Trump to the White House.
The official stressed that Cuba has expressed the desire to continue negotiating pending bilateral issues with the U.S. government, without demands or prior conditions.
