Havana, February 19 (RHC) Cuban first vicepresident Miguel Diaz-Canel met on Wednesday with the envoy of the president of Sri Lanka, Susil Premajayantha, who is paying a working visit to Cuba.
During the meeting Diaz-Canel and Premajayantha addressed the good friendly and cooperation relations between their countries and they reiterated their willingness to further strengthen such links.
The Cuban vice-president and the distinguished visitor also considered issues of regional and international interest, as well as the participation of Sri Lanka and Cuba in world forums.
Susil Premajayantha was accompanied by Sri Lanka´s ambassador to Cuba K.S.C. Dissanayake. On the Cuba side was deputy foreign minister Rogelio Sierra and other government officials.
