Havana, December 28 (RHC)-- The National Ballet of Cuba will celebrate the 59th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution with the ballet Don Quixote, one of the main classics of both the universal repertoire and the dance company.
The group directed by Alicia Alonso, will perform January 1st, at the Gran Teatro de La Habana, which since 2015 added to its name the name of the legendary artist.
The main roles will be danced by Anette Delgado, Yoel Carreño, Ariel Martínez and Ginett Moncho, along with soloists and the dance corps of the prestigious dance ensemble.
Don Quixote will be performed on all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in January, in the Gran Teatro, to celebrate the two hundred years of the birth of the original choreographer, Marius Petipa, and the 30th anniversary of the premiere of the Cuban version.
