Varadero, January 3 (RHC-PL)-- Cuban construction workers are prioritizing the work at Varadero's Hotel International, which will soon add 940 rooms to the beach resort in the western province of Matanzas.
The work, in its final stages, is taking place in an area farther from the sea, but with exceptional beach conditions, the director of the Hicacos Tourism's construction company and assembly works, Roberto Rovira told the Cuban News Agency.
Rovira highlighted the architectural elements of the once emblematic building from the 1950s, which is being remodelled to meet the demands of current standards.
