Havana, January 11 (RHC-ACN)-- The Executive Director of Turkish Airlines, Bilal Eksi, has reaffirmed the commitment of his company to continue the direct flights to Cuba and expressed his desire to broaden the operations and take advantage of the interests of the world to visit the Caribbean island.
During a recent meeting with the Cuban ambassador to Turkey, Luis Alberto Amoros, both sides coincided in the existence of enormous potential to increase the flights to Cuba, the Cuban Foreign Ministry reported.
In the context of the meeting, held while commemorating one year of the beginning of the three weekly flights by Turkish Airlines to Cuba, the Cuban ambassador pointed out to the increase of tourism from Turkey during the current high season.
Turkish Airlines, with direct connections with 120 countries, has been considered in recent years as the best air company in Europe and one of the best in the world.
